Just had a quick scroll around wharfedales website for any info on this race and I cant find any. As i said it was a quick scroll so may just have not found it but as its next weekend I could do with being able to spread the word to our juniors at training this week (tomorrow) Does anyone have any info about routes distances times etc please.

Was thinking the very same thing last week, so started a different thread in Races, which currently has a little more information (for the seniors at least!)

This is the info mr Brightside put on the other thread regarding this race, its applicable to seniors, U18s & U16s -
Ted Mason talked me around the route last night which goes like so...
The start is on Outgang Lane like the BOFRA Hawkswick Dash. The route then heads diaginally accross the dale and up to a group of cairns at SD 950692 below Hawkswick Clowder. The route is partly on private land going up to the cairns. You then leave the cairns by the same route and return to Outgang Lane where the course then follows the exact route of the BOFRA Hawkswick Dash; which for those who don't know is a very steep out and back loop of the fell north of Hawkswick.
I spoke to the RO this evening and they are in the process of scanning maps to put online, however approx race distances & ascents are -
U12 - 125m, 1.6k
U14 - 125m, 2.6k
U16 - 250m, 5.7k
U18 - 250m, 5.7k
U18s will run with seniors, U16 will run the same route but as a separate race.
As I say, hopefully more details shortly.
Race times would be handy as well.

Yes, I hadn't picked that up so that unfortunately means I won't make it as we are at Preston with the Seniors
