Anyone 'in the know' know if this is going to be run again, and if so when?

Just trying to get plans made.

    Thanks.

That'd be good if you were able to find out. Cheers.

    6 October this year.

I was a bit dismissive of it when I heard about it last year, but it turned out to be a really enjoyable day.

And I'm glad to see they've changed the description of it. Last year it said something like, one of the toughest races in the fell running calendar. Wrong on a few counts, but a good race in its own right.

I did email the organisors and they told me it was running but they didn't know when as they had to tender for it first...

Have you got a link to the entry?

    Entries open....

Not sure how it comapres to other similar length trail races like the Lakeland Trails series, but it was an enjoyable day and good atmosphere.

Pretty good race that needed tweaking from a RO's point of view. good route. I was a senior marshal last year and was hoping to work on it again but they've changed providers. I still have a race sign in the garage which red bull wanted back but they haven't picked it up yet.

    any offers?

Interesting to how a (presumably) non-FRA race approaches things:

    21 miles, 1400 meters
Mandatory kit - unless the weather forecast is very bad there is no mandatory kit however if the weather forecast is bad (blizzards, heavy rain/winds etc) full body cover (long sleeve windproof top & bottoms) will be required.

So if it's heavy rain, bring a wind proof! No wonder you get people turning up at proper fell races without the correct kit.
Cause tramps like us, baby we were born to run
