What was the total ascent/descent for the run?

The track judges could also add an extra lap:

World Record for half marathon is 58minutes 35 which is 21097.5 metres
HG's equivilent time in his 21285m would be a half marathon in 59mins28 ish so nearly a minute slower. Still one hell of an achievement. Could you imagine running round a track for an hour how bored would you get. I get bored in a 3k.

Incidentally, do many fell runners realise one of Swoop's clubmates holds the world track 50km record (2-48-06)?
Clue - He ran in this year's Rivington Pike and was 1st V60

Rightio, find me a 15km track race and I'll go and have a crack at the record. I'll probably have to go for the vets record by the time you find one!
