    Shelf Moor

Anyone doing Shelf Moor on Sunday?

I really enjoy this one - a very steep hill on the outward leg, followed by a much gentler descent on the return.

I don't know about gentle, that's definitely a brain off descent down Lightside!

Shelf Moor is the scene of my worst ever fell race! In fact all of my worst races happen around there!

Gentle*r*, not gentle I seem to remember it was runnable even for a klutz like me though.

Some good groughs to jump over at the top as well. Think I was next to last in 2006; doubt I'll improve on that but I'm still looking forward to it.

Great race,I really enjoyed it, it really is a superb course.

Thanks to the organisors and especially you poor marshalls on the top getting rather wet in that 'fine rain that really soaks you'!!

I'll second that. It wasn't too good on the tops. Nice bit of mist though to thwart those rivals. Now you see me and now you don't. On the descent, I thought there was not a soul behind me! As usual, a couple whizzed by. How do they do that? Thanks again to all concerned. First race since Blackamoor and thoroughly enjoyed it. One or two blooded knees. Someone else, not me. Too careful?
