Definately good luck to those L100ers! I'm doing the L50 and that'll be enough for me in this weather! For those that may be interested I'll try and remember to put my forum name on my number. Will the Strollers lot be in the pub on the corner again, as I seem to recall chatting to a bunch of them there last year as the Olympic Opening Ceremony unfolded!!

The wife and I are actually doing the 50, not the 100. I think we're number 700 and 701 respectively, see you there!

So! How did we all do!! Ken (nee_bother) did great!! Top 10ish in the 50! Hester was in sub-12 (11.40 odd) and I struggled around in 12.28! Which I'm happy with all things considered! Glad to get around really. Hydration was a real problem even though fluid was plentiful Then the rain came on for the last section and a half, though this wasn't a real problem. All in all a great event as per last year. Congratulations to everyone who ran and/or completed and especially anyone doing the 100 those guys have my utmost admiration it seems to be pure will power driving some of them!! Next year?...we'll see, better preparation...possibly! Oh! and well done Sunderland Stroller for a brilliant turn out too!...very cheerful and chatty bunch they are!!
