The key to losing weight and keeping it off is
"eat what you eat today for the rest of your life"
Not literally you understand but you get the meaning.

hmmmm yes - this was the catalyst that started it all - I had a banana on the way home though!

I'm sure you had the BIGGEST slice(S) of malt loaf

As a serious reply to your qoute Emmi, and Baz will probably rip me for this. I have been nailing the fruit the last two days. I feel like I am about to burst, my stomach starts making very loud noises at the most inconvenient of times(like meetings). I alsofeel like I permanently want to fart.

Im having a smoothie at the moment, yummy bananas, apples and sainburries frozen summer fruits just for the chill factor.

You are on the right track, just maybee a tad over the top with TO much fruit.
In my mind to much fruit and training do not go together.
Having said that ,your "wind" problem is the same i have had for years .Like everything there is a cause and effect going on.
My advise to you is to keep on the fruit but posibly tone it down to a level that suits you.

    Re: Dropping a few pounds

Cheers for the that APE, is there anything else I can eat that will fill me up but not build me up.

I've heard a lot about pulses and nuts.

They seem very expensive, Im finding my spuds, tuna and beans lunches very cheap and filling.

I just need to change the flavour of sauce I put on them every now and again.

Bland I know, but did'nt feet in the clouds mention a fell runner who just lived off beans on toast?
