The shortened course is just for the over 16 category.
I see - thought there was a shortening of the normal route - apologies for my ignorance.
Withins last year was my 1st fell race for quite a while so will be interesting to compare this years time to last - should be a bit closer to my times from a few years ago - hopefully anyway.
How did the forumites go on then, did not see any Fell Pony vests........?
If there was a prize for number of falls and deepest sinkage into a bog I think I would have won one. Finished looking like a bog monster with a shredded left leg! Was a nice day for it though
I was surprised no Ponies out today - perhaps they prefer sugar lumps to Curly Wurlies? Was it you getting your knee fixed up after the race? I banged mine too but if it was you it looked like a couple of stitches might have been needed. Perfect day for running today!

Met the Master and Amex last Sun at Beefy's Nab and wondered if they'd be around, especially as the Master won a rosette for second best in show last week
Was planning to do Withins but had a quick trot round Tour of Pendle again at silly o clock this morning with Fellmonster....lovely day for it too. Strange to be slogging up those last 3 climbs again so soon but im sure its worth it!
Good to meet you last week DT, there was a Pony running today but his vest hasnt arrived yet...im not sure what his forum name is but hopefully he had a good trip (no pun intended)
