Thanks to Dave and the team for another enjoyable, if slightly tortuous race. One of these days, I'll have a good run on a woodentops race! Of course, not running a West Yorks XC the day before might help, certainly the legs might have felt a bit fresher!

Although the photos of me do actually look like I'm running for a change!

Provided I get a place, I'll be back on NYE to continue my ALS streak going!

A big, big Thankyou to Dave & all the Marshalls, time-keepers, etc... for setting everything up so we could all run round the Moors
Once more, we are in your debt.

Personally speaking, wirh regard to recent injury (Plantar Fasciitis, & the subsequent knee issues, due to compensating for it), & lack of race-fitness (few ParkRuns, Trunces, think last fell-race was Ilkley Moor!!)
I was happy to get round in the time I did, as it was slighty faster than my guesstimated time

Thoroughly enjoyed my first race for two months. As ever, Dave and Eileen put on a marvellous event. Why thousands bother with £30 10k races baffles me when you can enjoy such a wonderful event baffles me. I should get over the to the mother country more often.

Is there anyone heading to the race this Sunday who could offer lifts to some keen University of Leeds Orienteering, Fellrunning or Cross Country members?

Westfield Lodge, BD22 9RH is next to the track on to Penistone Hill Car Park, the cricket club doesn't have a post code, you will see race signs when you get close to the event.
