    Re: Taking Breaks

Well, I've begun my rest period. Going to have two weeks off before a gradual return to training for the rest of November and then hopefully back properly over Dec and Jan ready for a race in Feb.

Been a great year and it feels good to be having a break because you feel you've deserved it and not because you've got a bad knee/calf/hip!

Work out what works for you and go with it.

Cheers. First time I've had an unenforced break since I started (of more than three days anyway). Will see how it goes.

You do feel like a slacker when you drive past people out running and all you're doing is going home to sit on the settee and eat biscuits
