    You'll enjoy it. It's quite a tough little course, there are plenty of undulations but luckily it's not too muddy yet.

    It's definitely a little easier these days since the stream crossing has been taken out and it's also worth bearing in mind that sections of the course do have tarmac paths that run parallel to the grass routes, so i'd definitely say runners in fell shoes have an advantage over spike wearers because they can run on the those paths.

    Good luck matey - luck out for a fat lad near the back in a Rochdale vest.

    Man alive that was tough! No great hills but very clay like mud. Hope you had a good race today and I was probably near the back too! Reckon this will be a good way of keeping fit over the winter. St Helens next!
