Sorry to hear that DN and get well soon. if its any comfort I was running with the constant fear of being overtaken by a Rochdale vest!!! The laps seemed very long - it seemed to take an age to cross the start line for the first time. I think that was because the course went out and back alot but once got into the swing of it and learnt the course it was as enjoyable as it could be with challenging hills, enjoyable tight corners and as always deep mud and water but nothing daft. I ended up doing it in around 50 minutes but they got my number wrong so not showing on results and seem to be running for St Helens. Do you wear cross country spikes? Team mates seemed to be raving about them. Wythenshaw Park next - should be a bigger turn out they say.
