Sorry to hear that DN and get well soon. if its any comfort I was running with the constant fear of being overtaken by a Rochdale vest!!! The laps seemed very long - it seemed to take an age to cross the start line for the first time. I think that was because the course went out and back alot but once got into the swing of it and learnt the course it was as enjoyable as it could be with challenging hills, enjoyable tight corners and as always deep mud and water but nothing daft. I ended up doing it in around 50 minutes but they got my number wrong so not showing on results and seem to be running for St Helens. Do you wear cross country spikes? Team mates seemed to be raving about them. Wythenshaw Park next - should be a bigger turn out they say.

Looking at the results, you've had a good run. You definitely improved your position in the field. Well done.

if the weather continues to stay dry for the rest of the week, then they might be a scarcity of water surprisingly enough, had a remarkably dry week up here compared to what has preceded it for the last 9 month!!!

I'll be up there. Looking forward to running, but also looking forward to seeing how my U15 and U13 Girls go.

Hi all, me and the hubby were going to this but plans have changed. We have booked a double room at Travelodge Sunderland Central for night of 22nd departing on 23rd if anyone wants it. All paid and we don't want anything for it. Let me know if your interested and we will pm you details.
