I actually came on here for the first time in ohhhh, 10 years? As I was thinking about Daz and XOTF and wondered if the forum was still going... Daz will remain a legend...
Steve posted regarding XOTF last year, but no specific details followed. I'd still like to see it return to the forum.
How's the knee H?
Luke Appleyard (Wharfedale)- quick on the dissent
The knee is not too bad but I have never been able to get back to running. I use Nordic Poles now, to protect it when out walking, which seems to work well
How are you?
Do you still have that amazing Skoda?
Well, as you can see from my comeback thread i've got a good grip of my knee problems and i'm chugging along on a 'less is almost as much' philosophy. So not training every day and keeping the hard sessions short and sharp; everything, but in moderation. It would be nice to do like Daz did and get really serious about improving, but my maltracking has taken its toll and my knees would quit quite quickly.
I still have the grey Estelle, yes. I recently rebuilt the whole front axle, but it won't be roadworthy until i've got my garage built summer of next year and i can work on the rear. The engine is now topping out at 90bhp, which is over twice what it left the factory with. It'll be back on the road in the next couple of years, i'm in a 1991 Polo Coupe GT at the moment, it's very economical.

Looks like you got a good grip on things and glad to hear the car is still with us!
"...as dry as the Atacama desert".
Daz day <3
It's fitting that I wore my Belgian jersey today then.
