Frank I have some photocopies of the 'El Greco' group attempt from 1977 which included Chris Dodd. Pete Simpson is still in contact with him so I suspect you will already have info on that. If not it would probably better to get in touch with Chris himself. I also have a copy of a schedule for an attempt by Mike Hartley and others for 1986 which you supported. Mike would be the best source of info which may be what he is digging out.

Hi there Mountain Man. We must know each other, so who are you? Tony Wimbush at a guess?

Yes we have a report about the Chris Dodd /Anne Sayer crossing. The son of Mike Powell Davis who was in the group has also been in touch with me. Seemingly MPD is no longer with us. I'm not sure what papers you have, but is there any chance of you sending me copies?

The Mike Hartley/Howard Sawyer crossing is well known to me. As you say I supported that along with Max Wood, and have schedules and photos. I even have a photo of Guy Collinson rubbing Vaseline up his bum crack on Skipton High Street. It did him no good because he dropped out sometime later!!!

Luv Shack - thanks for your help. I was talking to Gill yesterday and she thinks you're wonderful!!!

JPD, thanks for your mail. I'm sure I replied, but can't see anything in my outbox. If you didn't receive anything from me would you be so kind as to forward those contact details to me sometime? Many thanks.
