ALS after-glow (wind burn) happy new year all - and thanks to Dave for all the Wooden Tops fun this year.

Race winner, Jonny Brownlee (Alistair was at home practising his Javelin)

Very challenging conditions for running (and photography!) I think this chap has the right idea...

I'd rather have run in what Jonny was wearing. That was quite oppressive, especially when I inflated the lifejacket.

    The topless guy was Multi-Coloured.

Oh and well done Max - proud to see a Heptonstall lad in the top 10, only 15 years old....amazing.
Ahem! Surely he's over 16.... :closed:

By the way - thanks to Dave and his team today. I would not have liked to have been stood out in that today - especially those 2 guys at the river crossing.

He's probably glowing now as he'd covered himself with Tiger Balm and then vaseline :w00t:

    Disqualification?

I recall seeing a poster at the stoop threatening this, or is the distance just safe?
