Rather than run 2 threads, please follow link. I just want to draw juniors and those interested in junior fell to the link in the main part of the forum.

Junior Relays for 10-13 year olds will be run prior to the Senior relay which will be for 14 year olds upwards.

Yes just a reminder.

3 legs per team.

Junior races for teams of 3 are £9 pre-entry and £12 on day.

Team Age Categories 10/11 on Day and 12/13 on day running same route (14+ can run in senior event - see separate thread)

You can mix the age groups if you haven't enough for full teams but the team will count in the older age cat. You can also mix boys and girls but again the team will count in the boys cat.

Awards for winning team in each of the 4 categories and fastest leg awards in each of the 4 categories as well.

2.8km and 106 m - all run together starting at 11:00am

It's a low key fun event so don't be expecting anything mega

Mixed teams - ie teams from different clubs allowed but treated as non-counters.

A splendid event for the juniors....a big thank you to Richard and Blackburn Harriers for organising the event, hopefully it will go from strength to strength each year.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for that - it will be on again next year. Feedback has been very good despite the odd glitch - mainly with leg 1 seniors :w00t:

Sorry to some of the juniors who found that a gate had shut on them - I believe that they struggled getting it back open.

Other than that I think the juniors seemed to go fine.

I know that the day after County Schools isn't ideal, but those that doubled up seemed to enjoy it.
