New shoes, new tights (the other half said my old ones were verging on the obscene), new long sleeved top, gonna put the whole lot on for this afternoons run, see how many 'he'll have given that up by New Year' looks I get. It's being a while since I looked brand new :thumbup:
Been out in my new tights n top 3 times now. Covered in mud and stinkin of sweat. Brand new doesnt last long ha ha. Goin to buy some new shoes this week and a few more bits in the sales.
Know what you mean about those looks, looking like a futuristic chap in shiny new kit!

New shoes got Christened yesterday on the Chevin chase and already the yellow colouring is now stained dirty brownNormal service is resumed. I did feel a bit of a tit wearing brand new shoes on the start line, I can't remember the last time I did that.

Not much clothing this year, just some Nike compression shorts, but my wife got me a fancy thumb compass for Christmas. seems to make sense, and I can see how it's a lot quicker than using a normal one... Hopefully give it a go tomorrow, if you see a lost looking man staring at his thumb in the dark peak, say hello!
