    What watch?!

I'm thinking about buying a watch. A watch so I can see the time and how long I have been running.
I just want a simple watch. Cheap, but suited to wearing whilst running.
I currently use my phone for the time and it's not practical.
    Any suggestions?
From a little internet research I was thinking of something like a cheap Timex?

That's the exact same watch I have.

Yes, thoroughly recommend it. Tells the time and everything.

PS; I only paid a tenner.

Sweatshop have just put the Soleus GPS watch in their sale at £49.95. I doubt you'll get a cheaper GPS watch than that !

The trouble with plastic watches is that you generally can't replace the straps. They have a moulded bit that ensures you can't get cheap replacements.

So I've stopped buying 30 quid running watches and instead have changed to 10 quid watches. My latest is from Decathlon and it's working well so far.

I've got a Casio WR100M, it's OK, small with a front start/Stop button only about 15 quid, only grumble is the stopwatch is a bit weird, the main display keeps running while the smaller display on the front stop without hundredths of second, thinks it designed for football referees, but it does tell the time and has a light:thumbup:

    Re: What watch?!

Got the Casio Daz mentioned. 22£. like it a few hours in. just want to get out of habit of checking mobile every five mins and also easier to time runs and sprint sessions.
Thought about gps but couldnt bear the research into what would suit.me and. Wanted an evrryday watch.
Happy with todays purchase. Has a pacer in it too apparently..Never used one before not sure how.useful they are?
