My club was admitted to the league at the PECO AGM and I'm going to try and make a few of the races, other commitments permitting. I think my wife (Helen) is more committed to doing them than me.

See you both tomorrow down at Fitzwilliam then???

Sorry, perhaps I should have added (but I guess it's reasonably obvious - going by my signature) that 'we' are organising race 1

Are either of you running Middleton Woods on Sunday 16th?

I ran yesterday. I love the downhill through the woods on that course. 21st for me.

In fact, the mud has been the outstanding feature of the two races so far, and I've done better in this than on the dry!

    Bloody hell!!!
I doubt I'll ever get that high up the 'tags'

Yes, it was fun in the mud, it seems that every illegal/stolen motorbike in the south Leeds area must be thrashed around those woods to create some of those holes.

Richard, sorry - I've only just noticed your posts, I wasn't ignoring you. The answer is No, we actually haven't got out to any of the Peco races yet. Helen intended to go on Sunday but was struck down by a migraine (she suffers, poor lass) and I went off for a jaunt around Ilkley Moor with a mate and his Jack Russell!

We might get one in yet, though I think others from Harrogate are in attendance. I think the next one is well into January, correct?
