Interested in others thoughts on this, if I run a 10K I feel I tend to have a good 3.5-4 miles and then fall apart for a mile and then pick up again, I've run 36 and a half and want to run sub 36, the temptation is to put 15-20 seconds on per mile at the start in the hope of 'staving' off the bad bit, what's others thoughts on this, will it work?? it's hard to lay off the front group when I feel the race is going away at the beginning but feel this may stop that later slowing up???
