Unless you do your usual trick of running round the course before the race starts as a warm up?

The race does not always go to the swift, but to the ones who keep running
I've not done this one but if it's the type of route that doesn't need a recce then I'll come up (South Wales) & do it. Might as well get out on the Saturday to make a weekend of it.
ok ok....may stumble around at the back for this..still not race fit but could jog round as a training run...

Yeah what happened last year moo,
did you have a bad run, I remember it was a baking hot day.
My only challenge for this coming sunday, is to completely submerge myself in the river after the race.
Last year I just did the lower legs, I was to soft and bottled it as the water got closer to the land that time forgot.
I dont think you can call yourself a proper fell runner until you can do that
