Its a nice route Al. You should be comfortable probably well under 2 hours
Trying to plod up hills every day slightly faster than the day before
I wish tom!
I havent raced over that distance in 5 months and ive lost a hell of alot of my endurance since then.
I plan to take it nice and steady to the first CP and then see how i am from there and many turn it up a notch.
Or like usual that will all go out the window and i'll set off at a stupid pace and suffer haha
Its quick running all the way. Your big runs in langdale will help. Its a long slog although not very steep upto is it high raise/seat

Aye, i think if anything the first climb from the valley floor will be the hardest. Its all runable but steep enough to take a fair amount of energy out of your legs.
The climb after the nan bield pass is a good scramble and then there the slog up to Kentmere Pike.
Looking forward to it though.
I'm planning on taking it easy up to CP1 then taking it even easier to the finish.
Im in, my longest race in oh about 2 years and first lakes race since Three Shires 2007. See you there.

See you there pal, be great to see you also. Im sure you'll come steaming past when my legs give in at the 9 mile threshold.
I've been running a fair bit just not very far. Cant be arsed training anymore, just racing lots.
See you sunday
