Mmm, was going to do the 5.5 miler near Howarth but might be up for Kentmere, will decide nearer the time. Have not done either of them so which ever way it will be another route to tick off. Weather forecast may also help me decide.......

They are both on the same day!! It's 1 or the other.........
I've not done this one but if it's the type of route that doesn't need a recce then I'll come up (South Wales) & do it. Might as well get out on the Saturday to make a weekend of it.

did you have a bad run, I remember it was a baking hot day.
My only challenge for this coming sunday, is to completely submerge myself in the river after the race.
Last year I just did the lower legs, I was to soft and bottled it as the water got closer to the land that time forgot.
I dont think you can call yourself a proper fell runner until you can do that
