A shoe or 2 too many?

Mrs Stagger made me clean the shoe racks and cellar steps.
    And discovered I own:-

2 pairs x mudclaw 270 (1 race pair, one dropping in bits)
2 pairs x walsh PB ultra extreme (1 race pair, one slicks)
    2 pairs x x-tallon 190 (1 race pair, one on last legs)
    1 pair x mudroc 290 (almost done)
2 pairs x cycling shoes (both good winter pair 45, summer pair 44)
2 x road trainers (Both ok)

    Is that too many????

No. Just every base covered. Do you have road or MTB cycle shoes tho!? Cos I think you may require at least one more pair if you haven't got both!!

No that’s not too many , my list as follows.

Mudclaws 270 2 off one for big races and one worn pair for club races and cross country.
Mudclaws 333 1 off for training in.
    X-Talons 212 one off.
    Rocklites 318 for training.
    Mudrocks 290 for racing.
One pair of road shoes for training runs
Two pairs of lightweight racing flats.
    9 in total.

    Just the cycling shoes:
One pair of Sidi tri shoes, black, for winter abuse in horrid weather.
One pair of Sidi carbon soled road shoes, red, for general training, old race shoes.
One pair of Giro carbon soled road shoes: kept for racing only.
One pair of Shimano goretex winter boots, MTB but also used on the road in winter in a vain attempt to keep my feet warm.
One pair of Mavic Razor Cyclocross racing shoes
One pair of Mavic Chasm MTB racing shoes
One pair of Specialized lace up dabs, like trainers with cleats, for short local training rides.
One pair of Shimano shoes bought for cross but unsuitable for walking in, so now training shoes
One pair of Scott MTB shoes, largely used for cross training, because of their grippy, flexible sole.

The cellar steps seem to perform the same function in this house as well (plus walking boots...)!

Definitely not too many, but are they colour co-ordinated?!
