It would be terrible to put unattached if you are not through social or fitness contact. There may be a few who are joggers/walkers from Radcliffe as well as the greyhounds!!

Try to get teams in early as no entry on the day due to the chip timing. I witnessed Bolton 5k people (ukresults chip timing) and they had over 100 on the day. Times that by four names per team and it would become unmanagable!
Vince there should be no bill to foot. The UKA permit now is a fixed fee based on the number of runners regardless of whether they are with club or not. Also the unattached in UKA rules refers to First Claim status rather than EA Affiliation.
So as long as the club is affiliated, which Rossy are, and the athletes are first claim members of Rossy, which it seems they are, then they should run as attached.

Ok, if you have youngsters who train at your club, am happy to accept relay teams from the youngster with parental permission! And they are capable of each covering the two mile laps.

The Supervets team has been up Knowl Hill for some altitude training today. They meet with the psychologist tomorrow and will then rest before the event on Monday. There may have to be some team changes but morale is high.

It's a lovely day for the relays Vince.

I feel a good day is in store, so much so I've even laid off having a full english breakfast this morning.

I've also heard on good authority that Brenda's team of super vets have been warming up since 6.30 this morning.

What a fantastic day and great event. Congratulations to the organisers and all of the marshalls.
Relays are a good motivator for club teams and there was a really friendly atmosphere. Terry must have laid on the sunshine.
He would have been pleased to see so many enthusiastic athletes.
Hope lots of cash was raised for the charity. Well done everyone.

I totally agree. It was a superb event, for a great cause, done in the name of a great man. I reckon Terry would have been proud of us all today wouldn't he?
