Yep pretty much the same for me. It forces me to run against myself. So I ease up on the approach to the segment inorder to have a blast at it. Makes the runs more interesting.Strava review here
Exporting somebody elses run is a premium only feature. There is a workaround using this tool

It worked for me as I did not have my phone last night so I downloaded the trace for the guy I was with.
It uploaded OK but for some reason it was not visible So I had a look at the trace and the run was done in 1969. So I deleted it done a search/replace in the gpx file to get the date right and re-uploaded. It worked perfectly OK.
The sonic booms from when I break the sound barrier can sometime damage property.
