    Re: Llantysilio Mountain Race

Results have been posted on the wfra site.

Glad folks enjoyed it and hope those that were topographically embarrassed come back and have another go next year. You'll have a great chance of beating your times.

For the record, we had 20 more runners than the race has had before - just over 100. In previous years there has been as few as 40-odd so we were delighted.

See you at the Sun Inn next year

    Thumbs up Llantysilio Mountain Race

Thanks to the organisers and marshals at todays race. It was a cracker.

It was my first run of this race and I found it pretty hard going. The beers last night probably didn't help my cause, but, the beer after the race at the sun inn tasted all the sweeter having earned it.

    I'll be back next year

I agree, big thanks to the marshalls and everyone who marked the course, issued the numbers etc. Particular thanks to friendly marshall who helped me find a place for my car and then later on he was on the course encouraging people on.

It was a brilliant course. Lovelly area. I've ridden Mtb a bit in the area with a mate of mine from Llantysilio.
Was anybody else's mouth dry "like a cats nest" (old welsh saying) all the way round??
Happy with the win though, well chuffed, and got a nike sports bag and a lovelly dinner set, excellent day.
Nice to see Pete Douglas and Al Tye out there as allways.
    Many thanks to everyone involved.

    Well done on the win.

Yes, I had the dry mouth thing. Not use to running in nice weather.
