    Mudclaws

I've managed to trash another pair of mudclaws in under 100 miles of use.

This time there is a gaping hole on the left inside. The stitching has completely separated.

I cant really take them back to where I got them becuase they where sent to me for free by innov 8 when I wrecked the last pair in a few races.

What are you using them for? Are you spending a lot of time on rocky ground in them, I would imagine this would be fairly abrasive on what is a pretty thin upper.

Maybe they're just not for you Jamie?

Other people have had no problems with them. I have had 6 pairs, 4 of which were replacements. It's just got too embarrasing to take yet another pair back. I'm not having a pop at innov8, I love their shoes (310's lasted for ages) but Mudclaws simply will not stand up to the terrain/running I'm doing for more than a few runs.

I tend to use my 330s for training, as they're obviously built to last and save my 270s for racing - as they're obviously not.

Mr Walsh fan on the air again... but... With inov 8 you can have shoes that are tough but feel like clogs or shoes that are racy but flimsy. Walshes manage to be both racy and tough (IMHO). It's a no-brainer really....

I'll get two lots one for racing and one for training.

I may get some walsh pb extreme boots, but I find them a bit tough going on the long rocky races.
