Intriguing break by David Millar so far today. Don't fancy his chances of making it to the finish in the lead though.

Amazing sprint by Robbie McEwan to take the stage win today after clawing back from the back of the pelaton with just a few K remaining. I thought the crowd/organization/presentation and the way it has been portrayed on TV (Eurosport anyway) has been fantastic and has done London a lot of favours, especially with the olypics approaching. Many people say we can't host a big event and just sit back and wait for it to fail but from what I saw of the 1st 2 stages (which was pretty much all of it on TV) the hosting of this event has proved that we can.
At Cote de Goudhirst today. fantastic day and support there amazing. What a day!
robbie mcewan showing true class today
a nice touch yesterday was the CSC truck passing sean yates as he was being interviewed and pipping there hooters wildly
david duffield was his usual animated self on eurosport as well , he didnt even mention the local cheese yesterday
I have to echo London Exile's comments about Saturday in Central London.
It was a fantastic free show and the organisation was first class - big screens everywhere, excellent commentary from Phil Liggett and Paul Sherwin, millions and millions of people cheering some of the World's finest endurance athletes.
If the Olympics are anywhere near as good we're all in for a big treat in 2012.
