I am travelling to Jura via Ardrossan, what are the options for parking the car at the ferry terminal ? Is there somewhere that's free ?

The car park is safe and cheap we always use it.

I've two spare seats on way up to Jura race this weekend so if anyone would like a lift/split the fuel just get in touch by private message.

I'll be travelling from Matlock, Derbyshire to Tayvallich on Friday 23rd and returning on Sunday 25th. Am booked on the Jura Passenger Ferry Tayvallich to Craighouse at 8:00 pm on the Friday evening and back across on the 9:30 am ferry on Sunday. Peak/Sheffield area easy or around the M6/pick up in Lakes.

We will be travelling up for the first ferry friday so there shouldn't be much traffic about.

We usually take M74 to J8 and then A71/A78 to Ardrossan.

I got eaten alive in the 5 minutes it took me to get changed out of running gear standing outside my car in the Lakes last night, so I can only imagine how bad it is up there!
