Bit gutted I'm not going to make it. Sandwiches made, shoes in car last night and not even had a drink , but middle of night decided to see sense and play safe. Calf muscle very sore and has been 'on ice' since Tuesday evening race, really hoped it would be ok but it isn't, can't risk it on that descent - it's certain to go again.

Good luck all and hope it's a good one ...... next year perhaps.

Top race Crispin! Sorry the weather was not kinder to you. The path up was crappy. All slippy and 'orrid. But I ran every step! Very proud of meself. Not done that for a while. Also 1 minute 37 secs faster than last year! Turning back the clock!!
Everyone seemed to enjoy it, especially the lads who came from London and the new boy Johnathan who insists on racing in trainers!!

Sorry about the calf Moley. Get well soon!

    Well Petal,. . . . . . .
I think Pete Maggs is still a member of my club, Chepstow Harriers.

I'll see what I can dig up.

    Well done Wheeze good run.
I made the right call not racing, had a training run, needed plenty of stretching en-route, but no damage. 3 consecutive races so far without serious injury, my record for this millenium . Improving, see you next time maybe.

Well, whatever happens Moley, lets make a date for the Rhinogs.
Shame you had to call off today. It was a very friendly affair and very well organised. Even got scoff in the tent whilst we waited for the generous prize giving! Probably the best 40 minutes I've had all year! Although it was very slippy and wet underfoot, it was good running weather and the clag kept most of the grockles away. No pool table on the summit either!

    Did they have any Fennel?

Oh, and yes Rhinogs is a must, not sure what to do about the half term thing though
