Same route off Blisco but don't cross the tiny stream onto the other bank, where the path seems to have disappeared - somewhere around 285045. Stay on the left side and follow the path down to the cattle grid. It's the more "obvious" route down. There is a broken off branch (more than a branch - it's been there over 18 months) that lies in front of you at the junction where Three Shires and Langdale split.
Why walk when you can run.

Yep. But only leg 3 on Sunday - the short one.

    Stolly,

how did your confirmtion come, I entered ages ago and have heard nowt, I just presumed I'd show up on the day all registered and everything.

I'll be gutted if they've forgot about me.

I just got a note telling me that I only paid £5 and will need to pay another 50p on the day ; I guess you have to get entered on a list to get a race number on the day? I had the feeling that had I not provided a postage paid envelope they wouldn't have said anything in reply but who knows?.

    Cheers Stolly,

I'll be go with my original plan then, and just turn up. My finacial adviser (wife) tells me the cheque has been cashed so I guess I'm in.

Without sounding amauterish here, will Pete Blands van be selling the maps of this route. The route goes over two of my harveys maps and its just to much of a pain photocopying and selotaping.
