Ace report, worth a 'go balls deep' award that one :-P I'm not sure if my legs or voice hurt more from leg 3 - I will perfect my repertoire of songs for next time!

Excellent! Just don't trust me with the dog biscuits.... or they might accidentally get left in Keswick instead of appearing in Threkeld...

Great stuff Claire, enjoyed reading the story of your round; as my Mum said to me last Sunday, running for 26 and a bit hours is even harder than running for sub 24 right!

You did really well keeping at it.

    Well done

Great write up Claire, I was impressed that you still had enough in you to come over and thank us for the cake . Seriously well done.

I really enjoyed reading your report of a pretty epic day out. Well done on a fantastic effort. In those conditions it takes away absolutely nothing that you took longer than 24 hours. It actually adds something. You are quite right. Over 26 hours of pain is worse than 24! :-)

I was pondering what a contrast with the fact that Saturday's fell race at Sedbergh Gala was won in under 20 minutes. What a wonderfully diverse sport we have.

It has been a great advert for those trackers too. I can see this being the flood gates opening on their use for BGs.

    Once again, very well done.

Is this a typical trail runners attitude to other people and the environment?
