    Hodder Valley Show Fell Race

Slight error on the details for the Hodder Valley Show Fell Race which is taking place this Saturday.
There is free entry to the race once show admission is paid.
There is online pre-entry to the show of £13.50
Entry on day will cost £15.
Bowland Fell Runners organise the race.

Further details can be found here which as you can see include Junior races:
    https://www.fellrunner.org.uk/races/...2-3fd3c7a253c3

I have notified the changes to the Race Secretary but it hasn't been updated yet.

The show is a key date for the area for many good farming, agricultural businesses and social reasons. This is the first time in three years they've been able to put it back on.
Supporting it with your presence will go a long way to turning things around.
The weather forecast looks promising and there's a bottle of Bowland Beer for all runners
Hopefully this might entice a few of you for whom a nice little canter over stunning scenery is not enough.

    Regards,

    Declan O'Duffy
    Race Organiser

The Hodder Valley Show is still going ahead tomorrow. There was speculation that because it is Duchy land that it would be postponed but that is not the case. Instead there will be a minute's silence at some time around lunch.
So the race will still be taking place at the advertised time of 13.30.

Pretty decent show this one, but no bottled beer stalls. Any results?

It's on the FRA results page and on BFRs website.
There was a bottle of beer for each runner at the finish.
Failing that a huge beer tent at the show. Couldn't miss it.
