Stitches in shin

I got a little scratch on Old county tops last week and I know have 10 stitches in my shin (about an inch above where the tongue on shoe is) how silly would it be to go running this weekend ? Am camping in Wasdale and well how can i resist......Attachment 6989

I would advise against - if that wound comes apart it may end up needing a skin graft.

Mate, if my doctorly advice is worth 'owt don't risk it, totally agree with MikeT, if the wound opens the healing will be horrendous.
