    Knowl Hill

Just to confirm this race is on Sunday,10th June, 11am in Norden, Rochdale,
    6 miles/1300 ft ascent.

    Details here

    Pictures from 2006 here.

The race is part of the Rochdale Harriers Three Day Event (three 6 milers in 3 days) and highly desirable T shirts are available to the first 70 pre entries who complete all three races. However all races are open and you can do just the Knowl Hill race, and in fact many folk do just the fell race.

Chip butties are available in the Brown Cow, Norden, where the registration and presentation also takes place.

    Brummy John,

could you kindly arrange to have a few of those nettles along the route to be cut back (as Gaz has delicate legs you know), and for the sun to be not as hot as last year(because it was absolutley bakin).

    Many thanks.

I couldn't see ay up there Sunday, can you remember where they were?

This year we pass between the 26 wind farm turbine bases they have installed on Scout Moor.

Also on day 2 (Naden Valley MT) we have a shiney new bridge over the stream (thats 2 new bridges in 2 years) .

Well, 3 down, 1 to go. Who else is doing this?
Anyone want to do a 45 min warm up over the first and last parts of the course starting at about 9.45am?
