    Langdale Gala FRA champs race

The details of the Langdale Gala Junior Championship races are now available at www.amblesideacjuniors.co.uk (Club Races tab).

Please note, this event is part of the Langdale Gala at Chapel Stile, near Elterwater (www.langdale-gala.co.uk). It is not connected to the more well known venue for the Langdale fell races at the head of the valley.

Look forward to seeing you there.

There's a big family campsite right there at Chapel Stile. I was there this Weds, lots of room, decent facilties with shop and pub nearby ! The other main campsite is the National Trust one at the head of the valley although that's a couple of miles away. ( in a great setting though with the famous ' Old Dungeon Ghyll ' pub across the road ! )

Unfortunately I cant open the maps on the website as I don't have the right software. The routes and climbs seem quite short compared with the other championship races?

Thanks Dave, your comments are much appreciated. The full results with times, and including U10s that had a blip today, will be up shortly. I'll post a link on here when they are ready. Thanks to all who helped today - it was very much a team effort by Ambleside parents and Ambleside AC seniors.
