Me and Emma will be marshaling on Mill Hill again this year. So, please, we don't want any idiots with their race number on their back - it makes Emma very angry. And you wouldn't like her when she's angry!

Just a quick general thing about all the Hayfield fell races. For each race, is there a list of Grid refs for each CP for each race, or a race map that could be linked to from the site?

Never going to be at the front of a race, so should never be a real issue, but if I do decide to really "race" one of these, it'd be good to be able to go for a recce, rather than have to run the race one year to be able to race it the next.

I know that most of the CP names are on the "profile" links, but I don't know that side of Kinder particularly well, so for example, I'm not quite sure where "Chunal Junction" CP would be on Kinder Trog, similarly "Big Stone" etc. Obviously, Edale Cross and Kinder Downfall etc are easy, but not all are that obvious.

Also have a search on Strava for routes you will find most of them on there. I have put up a couple for the Kinder Trog.

here is one for the Kinder Trog I found using the search

I would never have got that route from this description! http://www.cs.man.ac.uk/temples-bin/...&f=kinder-trog

Afraid I don't use Strava. Would be nice to have links from the Hayfield site, which is otherwise very good.

Or, as an alternative, at least a grid ref.

You do not need a Strava account to search for activities. just go on and use the search functionality.

I may be wrong with that comment. You can view an activity without an account but it looks as though you need to login to do the search. I login via facebook.
