wow brutal leg 2.. reverse of MC....
Never actually dared to go up MC that way! That's a steep steep climb. Beautiful route though and runnable as hell after that climb, so a good test i suppose.
Terrific leg four too, love Eilio for running upon
Been up a few times.. its different to the Eilio race as its more on the ridge so gives some great views, but a real calf burner, but you then have two more very steep short climbs then the last long pull. Suspect its slower than the other way as noone will run MC..
Cracking - got entered all ready
Excellent looking courses for legs 1, 2 and 4!
Two questions:
Are the vital statistics (distance, climb, estimated winning time) for the navigation leg available?
How many teams can any one club enter?
Cheers.
I think its a tad longer distance wise than the actual race.. ~65 minutes?.. quicker onto the fell this way (assuming it was ran the direction of the race), but longer at the end (maybe 4 minutes longer).. but also paired and unlikely direct racing the same) so likely to be slower than race time + going that way up Cynghorion.. Normally very few elite break 60, sub 65 is a very good time..
