    Holcombe Moor. Alpine Horns.

I had a run on Holcombe Moor today for a change. There were two alpine Horn players playing their big alpine horns in a hole in the ground by Peel Tower, the location presumably being chosen for the accoustics.

It was very nice. Are they always there?

I've never seen them but I'm usually up there quite early in the morning. I used to see a bagpiper up there quite regularly a few years ago.

Off up there later. Will keep an eye and ear out. Sounds cool.
