    1st Wolds Mini-MM

    Hi all

    The first ever Wolds Mini-Mountain Marathon will be taking place on Saturday 17th August, running out of the White Hart Inn, in the Lincolnshire village of Tetford and organised by Lincoln Orienteering Group. The format will be a 3 hour score event with a mass start from 10am and with 25 controls of variable points values to collect in total. Registration will be open from 9am to 9:45am, with entry on the day at £6 members, £8 non-members and £3 juniors, including dibber hire. Further details are available at www.logonline.org.uk

    Seems to be in common usage these days. The Dark & White Mini MMs around the footpaths and bridleways of the Peak District. The Organic Adventure MMs along the footpaths and roads of industrial Yorkshire...

    Maybe it's Mini-Mountain Marathon, not Mini Mountain-Marathon. Any old hillock would count as a mini-mountain :w00t:
