    Cuerdon valley 10K trail

Last of 3 race series next Thursday night - anyone done the previous 2/1? What sort of route is it and what sort of footwear would be appropriate? Also going south from the M65 which is the best junction to come off at? Thanks.

Nice race this one apart from the gates.
I ran it in inovate trail shoes, fast lads road shoes.
There is one bit that goes across a field which can be slippy, apart from that park tracks a few wooden steps.
Easiest way is to go right to the end of the 65, right at the roundabout 3rd exit, 2nd set of lights turn right should be signed for sue ryder .
Follow the signs for Sue Ryder but don't turn in at sue ryder when on Shady lane.
The barn is either first or second left after Sue Ryder home.
    See you there.

Decided to do this at the last minute. Sorry Ady, if I'd have been more organised could have given you a lift, did you make it ? Don't think I saw you. Accy ladies out in force though.
Spot on direction disco stan, thanks.
Good testing course although 2nd half was harder than 1st.
Really well organised - thanks to Claire and her team of helpers. 151 starters made it a record entry. Would recommend it and will be back next year.

I did not see you tonight Martins Mrs, how did you do?

Yes I was there lurking about, saw you from a distance. Ran ok middle of the field (as apposed to Stirton where I was at the back of the field - also lurking about!)

No didn't make it over - I was a little late posting my lift request though - I had transport issues Thursday so went out training instead.
