The trial for the U20s (athletes born in 1994, 1995, 1996) is in conjunction with the GB Trial for the World Mountain Running Championships at Whinlatter on 11 August. Participation in this trial is the best way of ensuring selection. However, if you are on holiday on 11 August and wish to be selected you should contact Anne Buckley ([email protected]/07817 681826) or Duncan Richards ([email protected]/07764 610799) with details of performances you wish the selectors to take into account when selecting the team. Please bear in mind that to select an athlete who has not competed in the trial the selectors must be convinced that (s)he is better than the athletes who have done the trial.
The trial for the U17s (athletes born in 1997 and 1998) is at Bradley on 1 September. If you are on holiday on this date and wish to be selected please contact Anne or Duncan (see above).
