You did very (especially in Tripsdale) well as no-one else knew where they were for a long time.

I'm not there next week (Kirkby) so was thinking of something like Great Ayton, Ingleby Cross, Bank Foot and Maynards (plus pub in Great Broughton) for next month's venues.

Any other suggestions let me know asap otherwise I'll get this on the website when I get a chance.

Cheers Steve but the review's not in English! Looks like the one Simon Greenwell has so I'll ask him next week, he should make more sense!

Hi All. Hoping to get back to a regular training schedule in 2014. Have done next to nothing this year. Was just wondering if anyone has any info about 2014 Club Champs.

Just formulating the 2014 Club Champs, not too much going on in January save the CCR which has been run and Clay Bank East which is shortly and a bit unfair to include at short notice, though i like the symmetry of including one race per month. CCR would of been ideal as so many Eskers participated and excellent for me.

Looking at Broughton Woods Wobble, High Cup Nick and Commondale Clart as the early races quite bunched, though its difficult encouraging people to travel, though a few do go to HCN.

Can't recall the others at the moment, but the rest were potentially from Esk Valley winter/summer, but may have one other but still local.

There are a few on Tuesday's who are running more steadily, i'm hoping to be out a bit more often. Enjoyed the Swainby-Carlton trig-Scugdale-Swainby a couple of weeks ago.

If any Eskers wish to make Club Champs bids let me know
    Tuffer

    Is enjoying the running

For the Club Champs, I personally would like to see some Lakeland Classic Trophy series races included again and see if we can encourage a club finish above last place!

I would suggest Duddon Valley in June, Borrowdale in August and Langdale in October as 3 races that would be achievable for many members and enable them to qualify for the trophy.

I agree CCR would have been ideal as a club champs race as so many Eskers took part. First race sorted for next year! You just need to keep your form for another 364 days Tuffer!!
