Ran from the "iron bar gate" car park today. Toddled round the last bit of the route "backwards " as it were. Got to the main road and then came back via the snow road. LOADS of 4x4's at the top of Little Moor - Hordron. Could see dogs on the other side and someone blowing his trumpet. Any ideas as to what was going on? Thought dogs weren't allowed up there, never mind a pack of them. Will the route be flagged at all? Not that I need it to be with my very superior navigation skills.

Not sure yet Ian. Off to Langsett in 15 mins or so to walk the dog with my significant other. Dental appointment for her at 12:30 - probably around 12.45 ish ish ish ish at Iron Gate.

I was out for a couple of hours and it was worth every step. Muddy, fell into a bog, views to die for and a brief meeting with IanDarkpeak. Photo shows what I'd been missing!
