in which case I'd check out the bit from the trig to the finish.

Heard rumours of this but was only told officially recently. I'll be meeting the Race organisors next week to find out some details.

looking at the details so far camping at the finish is a good idea.

Thought I would wait till they publish the out-of-bounds first Ian though so far Rodders finish looks doable?
    No country for old men.

No racing for me until January. Looks a great one to stage a comeback at!

Count me in for a portly trot in bracing Jan!

    Anyone else up for it?
Rodders, I'm trying to get Sam to have a go but he doesn't trust me when I tell him things like this will be OK. Once bitten twice shy and all that...

Have a word mate, we can run it en-masse!!

Congrats on the Grin & Bear It by the way, PB wasn't it?!

A brilliant idea, should be a good well organised race and it looks like the route will be a classic.

I will have a go and get Sam involved. It would be good to get a good crew going. It looks like a right good day out. I have done the crossing many times, but not the cross country bit from Featherbed Moss to the Kinder Trig. It shouldn't be underestimated as there is a lot of nav involved, particularly if the clag is down.

I had a hellish time for the last twenty miles of GnBi with a bruised rib. It was a pb so I can't complain too much. Ten days out and back to it!

Hi Rodders me old mate!!! .... `ows them ribs, teach you to show people the errors of their ways.

Trigger sounds terrific, a good blast prior to my Frostbite 50 .... and if it's for Woodhead MRT then I'm in.

Ian, will there be any bottled grog this time

I know my shout of "right" was followed by 14 stone hitting the ground with a wallop. The irony is that I had twisted my ankle at the same place two years before! Ribs are nagging like a mother in law! I have some codeine to help me sleep and can't wait for tonights dose. I was offered a sick note, but it isn't worth being patronised in three meetings with hr so I am keeping going. The trigger looks like a great blast. Nav skills essential! If the bogs are frozen it will be a fast crossing, if not.....
