    After 13,254 posts i've come up with a useful one:w00t:
    If it gets everyone down safely off Scafell Pike it will be worth all the drivel that came before:thumbup:
    After a reccie on sunday i must say this looks like a cracking, tough route, hope it's not as hot as last year (didn't do it but read all the reports!)

    Aaaah I wish I could have a go at this one, it's such a fantastic route. I walked this with my Dad as a teenager - I remember sunrise on Striding Edge and then getting to Coniston at dusk, what a day. But I can't risk my knees on such a long route. Good luck all.

    Going to recce the course tomorrow. Can anyone tell me if CP 1, GR 339098, Path Junction is on the Little Tongue Gill path? No obvious junction shown on my map. Thanks.
