the start/finish field has people upon it all the time and is safe for gear to be left
a lot of runners and cyclists just put there stuff either in the trees,on the fence or just near the finish line.

Some even do it without saddles. Don't believe me? Watch my videos of last years race in the pouring rain! Rob Jebb and Simon Bailey among others took part last year.

Hopefully I'll be up on Baildon Moor, Trig Point, with my children. IF I get myself & my son back from the Bramley Park XC race in time ! Good luck to runners & cyclists.....but mainly runners !

Cross bikes as they're easier to carry when you need to, & the course isn't that rough
Generally to be found plodding along with 'www.ackworthroadrunnersandac.co.uk'

Saz, may have to move you but not far!

Listen out to Radio Leeds between 9-10 in the morning for further details on the race!

Took a short trip out to Baildon Moor to see some of the action on this - Rob Jebb (c) was well clear of Tom Adams (r) who himself was well clear of the rest of the field coming down off the hill towards the road crossing so barring mechanical problems I'm guessing that's how it finished.

It did indeed, and Rob broke the record I think.

My run was fairly steady but it must be the first time I've overtaken Rob Jebb and Ian Holmes in a race. They both disappeared ahead into the distance not long afterwards, of course!
