Relive the ascent out of the woods. The first part of the video has now been processed.
Apologies for the somewhat static location. I WAS marshalling at the time.

Dont forget to turn the sound up!!!

I did this event - it nearly killed me! Enjoyed it though, and as I've only just started 'racing' (ahem!) I think I'll be back next year to compare/contrast my improvement.
I liked the moorland bits, not overly keen on that weird concrete track through the fields but it wasn't very long so never mind.
All in all, an enjoyable day out.
Cheers Womble and all the Bingleyites that made it happen.

Thanks Stephen, they make interesting reading.
For myself, I got a higher place, in a (only slightly) better time, out of a bigger field than last year.
Therefore I consider myself reasonably happy (having beaten riders who bet me last year)

There's only one small minor negative comment.... my surname's spelt wrongly in the results

You've spelt it the same way as that of Phil, Richard & Rob (of 'Bradford Olympic' & places 30th, 45th, & 115)

Looks like you finished 2 places and 6 seconds ahead of me Richard.
Not sure that the results are entirely correct since I finished just half a wheel behind a cyclist who I'd been battling with all the way around in a thrilling sprint finish that had spectators screaming in admiration (in my dreams).

Unfortunately we did have a slight glitch in the finish funnel at one point, purely because people were coming in thick and fast from all directions! Apologies

Ahh, yes, I think we passed (gasped?) words about the slipperiness of the concrete track on the way back?

    Re: harriers vs Cyclists

Richard, I have amended the results to correct the spelling mistake, apologies.

Fishy is correct we did have a couple of people out of position but as they were so close together the times were roughly the same.
