That's a nice account, Pete. It brings back fond memories. I seriously considered having another go this year but decided driving 1.5 hours to do a 5+ mile race was a bit extravagant. I must be less enthusiastic/obsessed than I used to be.

Another top race yesterday. Perfect conditions for the cycles, but the runners narrowly won. I'd like to say I helped, but as they say in cricket I "didn't trouble the scorers".
