Keep thinking we might have to move the border South if they go independent otherwise we'll be stuck with Tory government forever !!

To the Regiment - I Wish I Was There
I'm curious to see what this week will do to polling results that's for sure.

Indeed
More seriously though from a purely Mancunian/NW perspective I think independence for Scotland would be a disaster: our London-based overlords would be even less inclined to listen to us than they already are.
I'm surprised the Tories aren't banging the independence drum considering they'd never have to struggle at election again.

Pride stops that I think. Even Cameron doesn't want to preside over a Government so resented the nations tear themselves apart.
I can see the concerns with a Tory hegemony, but I do wonder how many swing voters would continue voting Tory. Interesting times.
Anyway, Westminster is a wonderfully representative model. I'm sure you'll be fine

Rhyddid Cymru!
Yes it'll be sad for 'democracy' in The United Kingdom of Great Britain without Scotland and with Northern Ireland. The North/NW will have its freedom one day, but for now I reckon Wales is a better bet. Or just abroad.
The Scots would have to be crazy to stay in the UK.

The scots would be crazy to leave the UK. The country would be crippled within a few year... No chance whatsoever this will happen, the scots aren't stupid and this is not Braveheart
Is Blackpool going with them?
Who cut your hair, Stevie Wonder?
The problem with Independence is if the Scots make a Utopia out of the North of these islands then they will become the biggest attraction for every economic migrant (including the English ) in Europe and beyond. There will be refugee centres in Carlisle and Berwick upon Tweed.
Keep in the UK Scots and let England take the strain
No country for old men.
